This workshop track teaches how to integrate Social Media into your online marketing mix and how to execute Social Media programs that build brand, drive leads and improve the bottom line.  Not only will you learn the fundamental best practices on execution across  Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Youtube, you will also learn how to properly measure success.  Discover how to measure with site analytics (Google, Omniture...) and offsite monitoring (i.e. sentiment and activity on Twitter, Facebook..).    Lastly, workshop students will walk away with a roadmap on how to properly plan for success in the social media world and properly build that into the entire marketing strategy

This intensive workshop will address proven strategies for effectively using social media to strengthen relationships with members, find new members, reduce costs, and drive attributable revenue. The case study based approach will allow you to walk away with a social media blueprint that can drive positive ROI for your organization.  Topics include:

  • Introduction to social media landscape, platforms, tools & goal setting
  • How to brand your Social Media
  • Identifying your consumers, building personas, and creating segments
  • Identifying your social media channels
  • Identifying channel appropriate offers  to customers & prospects

Workshop 2: Execution:  Meeting Goals, Community Sourcing and Creating Shareable Content

This workshop will cover the following topics:

  • Creating tactical goals - acquisition, retention, reactivation, engagement with influencers, engagement via competition, ROI
  • Use Cases for each Interaction Opportunity with member segments
  • Writing social media policy & procedure
  • Creating hooks to drive people across channel

  • How to sell your Board, your CEO, your Employees, & your Members
  • How to stay Engaged – with your peers & your members

Workshop 4: Harnessing the Open Graph

This workshop will review the in's and out's of the Open Graph and how you can fully leverage its potential:

  • Introduction:  What makes Open Graph so powerful
  • What social plugins mean for brands, websites and social presence
  • Getting organizational buy-in
  • How to run an effective social campaign outside of Facebook with on-Facebook initiatives
