Russ Marshalek has worked in new and social media for the past 10 years with a focus on culture. He's created and maintained online communities local and national publications, and his work in digital and social media for publishing, including Amy Sedaris, Barbara Walters and others, brought him to New York in March 09. He lectured at the inaugural 140 Conference and has been profiled by Huffington Post and Time Out New York amongst others, and arranged a social media week event with a focus on small business for the office community of Sunshine NY featuring Vaynermedia, Yipit and Brightmap. Russ is the founder of music critique site soldout and is the full-time Social Manager for cultural touchstone Flavorpill.
