
Leslie Reiser is a nationally recognized social media marketing expert. A featured speaker, contributing writer, and skilled digital marketing professional, Leslie has extensive experience in web site development, and interactive marketing communications. During her tenure with IBM, Leslie has managed complex global initiatives, developed and deployed effective Web strategies, portal sites, e-marketing programs, and online social marketing communities targeted to the needs of small and medium business professionals. A highly effective executive, she directs a globally dispersed team of digital marketing professionals, developers, and agency partners.
As one of the initial founding members of IBM’s digital marketing team (IBM.com) tasked with defining IBM’s role in the social web, Leslie developed the first of its kind social marketing community. infoboom, localized in 10 countries, connects clients with IBM experts and industry thought leaders.
Responsible for defining and delivering a consistent and effective SMB Web presence (60 WW sites) to drive awareness of IBM as a solution provider and influence future purchase consideration for the IBM brand and its extensive business partner network. Her innovations have reinvented the way IBM utilizes the Web to deliver integrated offerings to the marketplace through initiatives that include a solutions-led marketplace (Smart Market), community, and break-fix support.
Adept at managing external consultants and a wide variety of multi-national digital (Euro RSCG, Digital Influence Group, Digitas), PR (Ketchum), media, and advertising agencies (Ogilvy & Mather), Ms. Reiser manages programs with budgets of $3-15M and delivers in excess of $750M of opportunity revenue for IBM annually.
Ms. Reiser holds a bachelors degree in Economics from Rutgers College, Rutgers University and certifications in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University (Medill School of Journalism) and New York University.
