
As Vice President of Active Network Media + Marketing, Kristin leads strategy, sales, client service and P&L management of the #1 online and in-person media and marketing channel reaching people who participate in sports and activities. During her eight year tenure, Active has been recognized among the top 50 promotions agencies by PROMO 100 six consecutive times and was listed among the top 10 fastest growing firms from 2006 - 2008. Additionally, Active.com Sites rank among the Top 10 Sports Sites on the Web (ComScore) and is the only channel focused on people who play versus people who watch. Carroll has led Active's work with a range of Fortune 100 clients including ConAgra, Nestle, Proctor & Gamble, PepsiCo, General Mills and Toyota. Kristin is a frequent speaker having delivered market trend, consumer insight and client case study presentations at Promo Live, the Event Marketer Roundtable, and KidPower, among others.
Prior to joining Active, Kristin was the Associate Director at the Partnership for a Drug-Free America. Kristin managed the television, print, radio and web creative development efforts for the historic $150MM Office of National Drug Control Policy media campaign. She began her career in NYC at Ammirati Puris Lintas working on General Motors.
Kristin graduated magna cum laude from Syracuse University with degrees in Advertising and Policy Studies. She stays active by running, cycling, swimming, scuba diving, and sailing, having completed two Ironman triathlons and 7 marathons. She lives in Ocean Beach, CA with her husband Tom and daughter, McKenna.
