Joe Laszlo

As the IAB’s director of research Joe Laszlo plays a key role in driving the IAB’s thought leadership among members and across the industry.  Laszlo manages most IAB research initiatives; provides guidance and advice for IAB members with research questions; and oversees the IAB’s Research Council.

Laszlo led major IAB research projects on the economic value of the advertising supported Internet and expanding interactive’s role for brand advertisers .  He wrote an overview of mobile advertising and completed an IAB case study on online video ad effectiveness.  He also oversaw the completion of IAB guidelines around click measurement and audience reach measurement.

Laszlo began his IAB career in September, 2007, following an eight-year tenure at Jupiter Research, where he advised business leaders on numerous aspects of the technology and business of interactive media.

Laszlo holds an M.A. from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts and a B.A. in East Asian Studies from Columbia. He lives in New York City.
