
Jeremy Rueb is Vice President, Strategic Marketing Services, for IDG’s media companies in the US. He heads the program development team, which designs integrated marketing programs for IDG’s largest technology vendor customers. He was brought into IDG Corporate Sales in 2005 as Program Director, and became Vice President when Corporate Sales was renamed Strategic Marketing Services in 2009.
In addition to his program development responsibilities, Rueb has been instrumental since 2008 in the build-out of the IDG Amplify portfolio, which helps marketers engage technology prospects via social media. In 2007-08, he also helped launch IDG Market Fusion services, a vendor content analysis and lead optimization platform.
Rueb came to IDG from Ziff Davis, where he was director of program development for Corporate Sales. Prior to that, Rueb was a senior marketing manager at Sprint for four years, creating and managing advertising and marketing for branding, product and vertical industry campaigns supporting its B2B wireless and networking technologies.
He spent the first part of his marketing career on the agency side, working with major financial, retail and packaged goods and services, including Bank of America, Visa, Sprint PCS, AAA, Levi-Strauss and Blue Cross.
