Brian leads the development of social media strategy for SAP corporate marketing including driving policies, tools, training and best practices. Brian recently joined SAP from Cisco where over the past two years he helped build a social media marketing practice that works for Cisco - one that supports the brand, enables and encourages early adopters, drives for sophistication, and focuses on results.

Committed to building social media expertise throughout the company Brian and his team drove foundational efforts in training, resource sharing, planning and campaign design, and job sharing practices while still acting as a central consultancy managing complex and strategic social media campaigns.

Brian is a seasoned technology marketer who, in the last decade, has led the evolution of digital marketing practices at brands like Apple Computer, Netscape, Sun Microsystems, Cisco and now SAP. At each of these brands, he built teams and platforms to take advantage of new marketing practices in social media, e-mail, relationship marketing, demand generation.
